Balance

I balance out the breathing
              and the being
       take stock turnabout
                  breathing
                  and being
      taking stock
 in the balance     I think
                 of nothing
 and only the hum
     of the house’s heating
    is company for the moments
 where there is balance
           of breathing
 breath one         breath two
                    I am being
       nothing less than
            balance hums
          with the heating

Closer

I wanted to get
so much closer
but kept losing
focus, closer
to the tension
of each drop
held immobile
captured and held
in tension its shape
is a mimic of my thoughts
and one question
where have the spiders
gone? Did they know
I had my new camera about
me
