Crows

Crow nest building

Crows are flying at great pace
caught up in Spring’s big race
gliding with twigs of plunder
landing with no big asunder

Chimney building nesting places
not with such graceful faces
not so tidy quite out of sort
but every twig pulled taut

Dropping debris on the roof
Flipping heck! Oh for sooth!

  1. Bruce, you get points for using forsooth. . . not just using it, but using it as a rhyme!

I think the first time I encountered that word was reading The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and then watching the film version with Maggie Smith. I love that word/expression!
