Charging the camera

At best it is a little dull
to be charging ones camera
and it is raining outside
so it’s not like I can use it soon

to capture any still thought
that slumbers in my mind
is not something a camera can do
but as I wait for that light to turn green

I am plain and waiting for dryness
of day, of time and a slowness of sound
I am mindful how easy they make it
to capture an image everything on auto

but like life I want more control
and will experiment switching
these helpers off at the source
to play with the macro

The macro’s in life aren’t so beautiful
sometimes they are cruel and come at you with
snapping, twisting and crunching bite
and everything will be right when the light turns green
