Rex Arthur

O’ what of you regal Arthur
boar of Cornwall
the thane of men
Pendragon in red

Whence do you come again
to this entrenched land
Slept to long have thee
on that Isle of Avalon

O’ Arthur you sleep of Mordred’s wound
with Excalibur held to your breast
This country calls to you
fulfill what Merlin promised

O’ of you Merlin Ambrosius
Wise prophecies did thee cast
against the Saxon’s
but caught still are thee
In that cave of slept deathless
Awake awake your King is called
a new court must be forged
From Avalon
